this is probably because i’m an amateur linguist,

but i seriously think about 80% of problems would go away if people put more effort into understanding what the words they use actually mean. 

But use defines meaning. If meaning comes from use and a word’s usefulness is its meaning, then you use meaning as you mean to use it.

I thought very intently about both the uses and the meanings of the words “use” and “mean” in writing this post but by the end I think we end up with more than 80% of a problem in what in the world I’m trying to say.
